The teapot is an absolute pleasure to use. Personally, I find the hojicha brewed with it incredibly delicious ? it's become my favorite.
Thank you for the kind words! I myself have been using this very teapot for nearly 20 years now ? so please look forward to the character it develops with age. We're also delighted to hear you're enjoying the hojicha. We'll keep striving to deliver the freshest, finest roasted teas to our customers. Your continued support means the world to us!
A friend recommended it for its usability and easy cleaning, so I gave it a try. In our house, we're big fans of genmaicha, and pouring without a lid lets that wonderful roasted rice aroma waft up beautifully ? which makes it even better!
We're so glad you noticed one of the open teapot's most wonderful qualities! As you discovered, one of its greatest advantages is how directly you can experience the full fragrance of the tea. We'd love for you to try it with other aromatic teas like hojicha or kama-iri cha ? we think you'll enjoy those just as much!
I've been using it for about two weeks now. It's wonderfully easy to use and makes brewing tea a breeze. Above all, the cleanup is a dream! It's become a highlight of my day, and I'd highly recommend it.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! When it comes to everyday use, ease of care really does make all the difference. Lightweight, just the right size, and easy to clean ? we're so happy it's become a welcome companion for your tea time. We look forward to your continued support!
This was my first time buying a Japanese teapot. I had been making do with a Western tea pot, but I'm glad I finally got one made for Japanese tea. (It turns out I had been using too much hot water.) It rinses clean in no time, and the used tea leaves are easy to dispose of.
Thank you for choosing our teapot as your very first! A Japanese teapot and a Western tea pot differ in their strainers, so matching the right vessel to your tea leaves makes brewing ? and cleanup ? so much easier. We hope our teapot becomes a beloved part of your daily tea routine!
Watching the tea leaves slowly unfurl and their color deepen so vividly, I found myself amazed ? realizing that all of this had been happening hidden beneath the lid all along.
Because the very last drop pours out cleanly every time, the flavor of the tea feels noticeably richer. Cleaning is just as effortless: simply bring it to the faucet, add water, and give it a quick rinse ? it comes clean with satisfying ease.
The rounded form fits naturally in the hand, and I'm truly glad I chose this teapot.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a wonderful review. As you noted, one of the great pleasures of an open teapot is being able to watch the tea leaves transform right before your eyes.
The black finish may appear sleek and sophisticated in photos, but its rounded form gives it a warmth and approachability that we hope you can feel in person. We're delighted that you discovered so many things to love about it.
We look forward to being a part of your tea moments for years to come!
