We are pleased to unveil our refreshed brand identity for TOKYO HANDA TEA.
In our pursuit of a global presence, we have simplified our brand name while honoring our heritage. The new design puts a clear focus on our history and traditions, which have been continuous since 1815.
The emblem in our new logo is the Handa family crest, or Kamon—a traditional Japanese symbol of lineage.
This specific design, called "Maru-ni-Suhama," has been a symbol of good fortune since the Heian period, inspired by the elegant curves of coastal sandbars.

We sometimes hear, "It looks like an upside-down Mickey!"
While we are delighted that our crest reminds you of such a beloved global icon, this mark has actually been our family’s signature since long before Mickey’s time.
We look forward to sharing this Japanese heritage, preserved for over a millennium, with our friends around the world.
Looking ahead to 2026, we have a series of new projects and initiatives in development. We invite you to follow our journey as we move into this next chapter.
